Yes, our translator has held a NAATI certification for 35 years. He has provided certified, Russian language translations in Australia since 1988.
The rule is that a translated document must be accompanied by an original or a copy of the original source document, signed and stamped by a NAATI translator. It is a condition of acceptance of a translation by some organisations, such as the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
Sometimes, foreign governments require proof the Australian officials’ signatures on documents are authentic. DFAT staff in the Australian Passport Office of your state’s capital will verify them and provide a certificate as an apostille or authentication, which they will sign and seal with a wet and dry seal.
Some examples of documents accepted by DFAT for Apostille include Australian Birth/Wedding/Divorce/Death Certificates, Police Criminal Record Checks, Medical documents, Private documents such as wills, power of attorney, bank statements, documents prepared by an Australian notary public, and more.
If you need an apostille stamp to verify the signature and/or seal of the officer, agency or notary public lawyer who signed the original document, please make sure to have it before requesting the translation of your document. An apostille must be translated as part of the document.
Some foreign governments may request the legalisation of the signature or seal of NAATI professional translators. In this case, the translation submitted to DFAT must include on each page the physical or digital translator’s NAATI stamp, along with some additional information, such as the practitioner’s accreditation details, the date of the translation or the date the stamp was generated on.
Our translator is NAATI-certified and, therefore, bound by a Code of Ethics. Confidentiality is of utmost importance for RTA. We securely store all your information and ensure all your data remains protected throughout the translation and quality audit processes.
